Things will change if he goes, say, 1-23 in his first two seasons, but so far, David Cutcliffe is winning people over. He was extremely cool at the spring game, when he saw reporters around. Faking a basketball shot, he yelled, "basketball must be over!" and then cackled. It was pretty funny to watch. He also is getting some nice results from spring practice, and sees things to build on. Add that to some more experienced players, in much better condition, and a presumed attention to detail, and things are looking up. But the proof, as they say, is in the pudding.
