Football schedules were announced Friday, and Duke's is a bit more rational than it has been lately, with no guarantee games and winnable non-conference games too. Duke plays James Madison, Northwestern, Navy and Vandy out of conference. In the league, the Devils get UVa, Georgia Tech, Miami, Wake, State, Clemson, Virginia Tech, and UNC.
Really, it's about as favorable a schedule as you could hope for. The first four games are at home, and Navy and Georgia Tech are going through coaching transitions.
