In some draft notes, Kansas is apparently going to lose Julian Wright, and Texas is likely to lose Kevin Durant, who will probably announce next week.
In a couple of coaching notes, Arkansas looks to hire former Kentucky standout John Pelphrey, and Texas A&M is working on Mark Turgeon.
Odds are those are both smart moves. Pelphrey is an ace recruiter and has done a nice job at South Alabama, not a place noted for basketball success. And Turgeon has done a tremendous job at Wichita. Both guys will have to play against their alma maters in conference play - Pelphrey's reception in Rupp will be interesting, especially if he wins, and Turgeon will have to go up against Kansas.
