Long-time ACC official Larry Rose is retiring and will become the commissioner of officials for the MEAC. For the most part, we don't get too wound up about officials, certainly not so much since Lenny Wirtz and Dick Paparo departed. But we do enjoy reading about them when they are profiled, and Rose seems like a good guy. Unfortunately, he left the ACC on less than happy terms, but here's hoping he has a good run with the MEAC.
