It looks like Harvard has decided to offer Tommy Amaker the job, and Amaker is expected to accept, according to the Boston Globe. It's an interesting career move: Amaker played in the ACC and coached in the Big East and the Big Ten, all Big Time. The Ivy is anything but.
Amaker, though, may be a great fit in some respects. And certainly he has included his wife, Stephanie Pinder-Amaker, in all his career moves (she was a member of the faculty at both Seton Hall and Michigan), and for her, Harvard would be a tremendous career move.
One of the more intriguing games next season will be - assuming Amaker accepts - Harvard hosting John Beilein's Michigan.
