Since the NCAA Tournament expanded to allow multiple entrants from the same league 33 seasons ago, the ACC has sent 28 teams to the Final Four. Sixteen reached the title game, coming away with eight championships. No other conference approaches that level of consistent excellence.Another way to look at it, however, is that the ACC has missed the boat in three of the past five seasons. Included is the first consecutive Final Four shutouts since 1979 and 1980.
