Kirk Osborn, who has represented Reade Seligmann in the lacrosse case, died Saturday of a massive heart attack. He was a highly regarded attorney who handled a number of high profile cases; Seligmann was just his last.
Osborn played a huge role in this case. His public discussion of Reade Seligmann's alibi helped to peel back the layers of subterfuge and deception coming from the state, and forced people, most recently Barack Obama, to take a critical look at the case and the prosecution.
