Hey Guys,In case you didn't already see it, after losing in the finals the past 2 seasons (and trailing by 7 with under 3 minutes remaining this year!), Taylor King led Mater Dei of Santa Ana to the California Division II state championship last night, in a hard-fought, overtime victory over Archbishop Mitty of San Jose. King struggled a bit shooting the ball, but hung in there to ring up 29 points & 15 boards, including a clutch FT in the last minute to tie it up and send it into OT. Interestingly, he ends his HS career as the 4th leading scorer in CA state history, meaning that when he suits up for us next year, we will have the 1st & 4th leading scorers in CA state history on our roster!
