The only ACC game Thursday saw Miami beat Missippi State, a win which might make jaded Duke and UNC fans yawn, but which is in fact a big, big win for Frank Haith. First, his team got crushed by Mississippi State last year, and second, Miami had to work hard for this victory. They're 9-0 and haven't done anything stupid so far, so maybe it'll last. We hope so. We want all ACC teams to do well. But as long as someone has to finish last, might as well be UNC!When Wake scheduled Bucknell, part of the reason was surely so that Skip Prosser could visit with his son Mark, a Bucknell assistant. That won't happen obviously, but look for the Wake fans to throw some love his way.
