This is strictly rumor, but 850TheBuzz.com says Butch Davis is considering darkening the UNC uniforms, well, a considerable bit. Supposedly, Butch Davis doesn't like Carolina blue, which is probably something he should have resolved before taking the Carolina job, and prefers something closer to Navy, or, if you're in a taunting mood - and taunting UNC is always in - Duke blue.
If this actually is broached, we can't wait for the reactions. It's going to be the funniest thing out of Chapel Hill since the interlocking NC jerseys.
All we can say is, Butch, you had better win, and win a lot, if you're going to try to pull a stunt like that.
