John Amaechi, who came out after retiring from the NBA, spoke at Duke about his experiences as a closeted player and then as someone who publicly acknowledged his sexuality. He also said he had wanted to play at Duke but ended up elsewhere. He's always been an interesting guy to listen to, so we're sure his talk continued that tradition.
