At the end of the Clemson game, there was, as you know, an issue about the clock. The officials reset it and gave Duke 4.4 seconds. We haven't really been able to review it much less to find out why they did what they did, but we'll have more on it later. But we can say this: Clemson made a huge mistake when they doubled on the ball and left Dave McClure unguarded. They traded a contested three (see: Virginia Tech) for a layup. A lot of people have written to comment on it and if anyone has a clear understanding of the rule and why they handled it the way they did, we'd be very happy to hear from you.
