Duke's win over Clemson moves the Devils into a tie for fourth place in the conference. Boston College comes calling Sunday, and a win there would keep Duke in at least a tie for fourth. Virginia visits Clemson Saturday, and they're liable to run into a very angry bunch of Tigers. Virginia Tech plays at Georgia Tech on Sunday as well, and the conference standings could be sharply different by then.

The best ACC news of the night, though, is the return of Kay Yow. Coach Yow has fought cancer repeatedly and seems to be on the verge of beating it again. She's a strong woman and someone to be greatly admired. Yow's Pack beat Debby Ryan's UVa team. As you may remember, Ryan is also a cancer survivor, and she had an emotional moment with Yow before the game. Ryan and her staff wore pink shoelaces as a way of offering support to Yow.
