We'd heard recently about a new organization called TruthandFairness.org, a site which intends to defray the legal expenses for the defendants in the lacrosse case as much as possible. The legal bills are running at - and this a minimum - $80,000 per month for the families. There is in some quarters a sentiment of, well, big deal, they're rich. You'd have to be extremely rich not to miss around $5,000,000, which is what we're hearing this case has cost so far. If you think the prosecution has treated the defendants unfairly, here's a chance to put your money where your mouth is.
