On Tuesday night, Duke aside (covered on the main page), Miami takes on
Travis Ford's UMass, and N.C. State continues its tour of the other members of
the UNC system, welcoming Mike Dement's UNCG to the RBC Center.
Our money is on UMass and State.
Amazingly, Wake
Forest is playing football on January 2nd. It's one of the great
achievements in the ACC in a long time. We wish them the best of luck and
hope that someday Duke can share a bit of their success.
Florida State is off to a nice start this season, but basketball
remains a hard sell in Tallahassee. But Billy Donovan has proven you
can do it at a big southern football school. And it's not like football at
FSU is distracting people much these days anyway.
