Two of the officers charged in the alleged beating at a Raleigh bar
have been fired by the Durham police department. Gary P. Lee and Scott
C. Tanner are both kaput. Mark Gottlieb, of lacrosse case fame, was
present but has not been fired.
Still, for a department having image problems, it doesn't help.
