Duke-bound
Taylor King was the star as the U.S. team beat Argentina in the the
FIBA Americas Under-18 Championship for Men at Greehey Arena. With the
U.S. struggling, coach Lorenzo Romar told King, "do what you do," and
King started shooting - and hitting - keying an 11-1 run to end the first half
and scoring a buzzer beater to boot. Not bad.
Duke target Kyle Singler also did well.
Watzone has more details on his blog, and
has a pickup report as well. Brian Zoubek is apparently surprising a
number of people.
