You may recall that several years ago, Larry Hughes left St. Louis for the
NBA so that he could get enough money to help his brother, who had a serious
heart problem and needed a transplant. The kid survived the initial
operation, and other problems as well, but died
Thursday at the age of 20.
We were always impressed with Larry's love for his brother and his endless
desire to care for him, and were very sorry to hear about his loss.
