The release of Ryan McFadyen's e-mail, which is right out
of The Heart Of Darkness, immediately changed the nature of the investigation
into Duke lacrosse. Within a few hours, the season was canceled and the
coach resigned. Ryan McFadyen, probably wisely, has left
campus.
According to a columnist at Stanford, who is friends with
a sister of a member of the lacrosse team, there
are some details that have not made it into the media, and if his source is
correct, they should also be considered.
