In the only ACC action between now and Wednesday, Miami was basically
humiliated by Mississippi State, losing
by 18 at home. That's pretty bad. Frank Haith sounds
pretty steamed and is promising changes.

Erin
Farrell had a Q&A with Jared Dudley. No major revelations,
although he is scared of snakes and says he's good at video games. Here's another
story about Dudley.
Clemson is doing what they usually do, which
is to load up on cupcakes and then crash and burn in-conference. But
Oliver Purnell is a very sharp coach, and we've been watching him as he puts his
program together. It's quite different from what Clemson usually has, and
we mean that in a good way.
The conference is off until Wednesday, when Wake takes on DePaul, coached by former Deac assistant Jerry Wainwright, and Maryland
takes on mighty UMKC.
