I was on a plane while it was happening, but Duke blasted Anderson
College on Sunday. Anderson is a top-notch Division II club who gave Wake
Forest a tough game on Saturday night, but they were no match for Duke's size
and speed. Despite that dominance, Duke had trouble finishing, getting too
excited off the dribble. I think Duke's offense will be a work in progress for
awhile, and the defense will be way ahead of it for a month or so. Duke will
next face Team Concept on Thursday night, a team of former college players.
That includes three former Tar Heels: Kenya McBee, Nikki Bell, and gut-punchin'
Leah Metcalf.
