Bob Ryan, of the Boston Globe, has an article up
with comments from various illuminaries about Red Auerbach. There are
some pretty classic quotes in here. Most poignantly is the end, where Bill
Russell says he can't talk about how Auerbach's passing hit him, but the mental
image of the immensely proud Russell bending to kiss Auerbach's coffin says
anything you'd really need to know anyway.
