Glory Road opens next Friday, and of course there will be a ton of articles
and recollections about the Texas Western-Kentucky game. Duke gets to be
an afterthought in that Final Four, but you may recall, Bob Verga got quite ill
and Duke, which was likely favored, lost in the semis. Who knows what
would have happened? It's a bit of history we're happy to let Kentucky
have, in retrospect.
