Nolan Smith, 6-3 son of the late Derek Smith, former Louisville star and NBA player, has committed to Duke. He's a junior at Oak Hill, meaning he is a teammate of UNC-bound Tywon (on) Lawson. Dave Telep ranks him #16 in the junior class and compliments his defensive prowess.
Taylor King, a 6-7 player out of Los Angeles, who committed to UCLA extremely early but later changed his mind, has also committed to Duke.
Telep says Duke will now focus all attention on Kevin Love and Kyle Singler, both of Oregon.
