Maryland's Travis Garrison has been charged with second-degree assault and fourth-degree sex offense after allegedly grabbing a woman's buttocks repeatedly and, after being told to stop, allegedly hitting her in the face.
He faces a potential total of 11 years in jail. Won't happen, of course, even if he is busted. It's most likely a first offense, and even if it's not, as you've likely noticed, athletes have to work pretty hard to go to jail.
The kicker? This happened in October, but charges weren't filed until Thursday - coincidentally, the day after the Duke game.
