More bad news for Cincinnati, as a recruit has been charged, along with four
others, with
statutory rape and indecent assault.
Tyree Evans is from Richmond but was in prep school in Massachusetts where
the alleged crimes took place.
Add this to Bob Huggins' DWI, Bruce Ivory's DWI, Keith LeGree's DWI, and
another player being charged with child porn, and you can kind of see where
people might be getting tired of the perceptions of Bearcat basketball.
Correction - the player charged with "distributing material of a child in the nude" was a prep school teammate of Evans, not a future teammate at Cincinnati. DBR regrets the error.
