After being hampered for most of the young season with an ankle injury, Alana Beard's offensive game may be back - her second half shooting keyed a 23-8 second half run that brought the Mystics back from a 14 point deficit. Unfortunately, the Silver Stars closed with a 10-0 burst to win by 9.

Note that Iciss Tillis is not currently in the WNBA. She was traded from the Shock to the Mystics on draft day, then released by the Mystics during final cuts on May 20. The Mystics preseason roster indicated that Iciss was still playing overseas (France), though she was absent from their playoff roster.
