We are sorry to hear that Thad
Williamson will no longer be writing about UNC basketball on a regular
basis. We have e-mailed with Thad at times over the years, and he has
always been an absolute gentleman and a friend. He's one of those UNC
guys, like Mick Mixon, who is just fundamentally a nice guy and who you could
see doing just about anything with, short of watching a Duke-UNC
game.
He will be an assistant professor at Richmond's innovative Jepson School of Leadership Studies,
which is great news. Best of luck to him there, and always.
