came very close to pulling off an upset win in the lacrosse title game,
before losing to Johns Hopkins, 9-8. It's our belief that championship
teams in most sports usually win by playing superior defense and with a
conservative (read: minimizing mistakes) offense, and that's pretty much what
Hopkins did. They played superb defense down the stretch and are deserving
Duke has nothing to be ashamed of. They had a brilliant season and were a
whisker away from being champs. Not bad.
