A Truly Wretched Crowd

ACC basketball is intense, and a game in Cameron is usually very passionate,
but there are other places in the world where basketball heats up, too, maybe
sometimes a bit too much.

Take, for example, the
most recent game between Maccabi Tel Aviv and Hapoel
, which saw all of
the following: people kicked out of the game and others walking out in
protest, signs calling former U.S. college stars Deon Thomas, Anthony Parker, Maceo Baston and Derrick Sharp
called "Uncle Toms," and suggesting that the Maccabi coach is or
should be a member of the Ku Klux Klan, and even calling someone a Nazi.
