We're just basing these comments on what Geno Auriemma said about coaching
women's basketball, that it's different from men's and you can't treat women
players the way you treat men.
We mention him because he obviously has some insights into the sport, and
because the L.A.
Sparks have hired Henry Bibby.
You may remember Bibby from his USC days, when he managed to squeeze a
certain amount of thoughtlessness in between massive letter writing binges (some
recruits got a hundred letters a day from Bibby).
So our question is: if Auriemma is right, how long will Bibby's somewhat
cruel style work with the Sparks?
