The Journey to Adulthood (J2A) group at St. Philips Episcopal Chuch in
Durham had a very successful auction and raffle, thanks in part to DBR
Readers, Duke faculty, staff, alumni, and fans, and to the generosity of
players, coaches and institutions. In addition to the raffle of Duke-unc
tickets, donated items included a pair of Duke-miami tickets, a stay at the
Washington Duke Inn, dinner at the Fairview Restaurant, a basketball
autographed by the team and coaches, and a poster autographed by the
players. Over $20,000 was raised for this group's pilgrimage to Spain! To
those of you who bought raffle tickets and didn't win, a big "thanks for
your support"! To the winner, cheer loud and strong, and have a great time!
