an emergency appendectomy Thursday and may miss the Virginia Tech game.

UVa has seen some late life, though probably not enough.

Big whoop to Sean Singletary. He
has more pressing concerns.

The conference is off until Saturday, when Miami goes to
Blacksburg, with or without Haith, Clemson heads for its annual futility tour in
Chapel Hill, and Maryland goes to UVa.

Now that's an interesting game.
