Something For The Crazies To Consider

You may remember last year a neuroscientist argued that a coordinated attempt to distract a free throw shooter was more effective than a random attempt. Here's more on the idea as tried by Mark Cuban. Cuban gave up on it, but we'd like to think that an enterprising Crazie (hint, hint) might contact Daniel Engber and ask him if he has any more insights or any suggestions on how to use science to significantly distract opponents. For instance, how could sound, volume aside, work to your advantage?
