We said recently that Jim Calhoun could soon reach a point
where the problems in his program may tarnish his legacy or end his stay at
UConn before he wants to. There is something of a backlash after the laptop punishments
were handed down, and
it extends to the student paper. And his recruitment of a kid who had
committed to St. John's is
