Edelin Out

Syracuse point guard Billy Edelin has been ruled ineligible for the first semester for failing to meet NCAA academic requirements. Syracuse is appealing the decision.

Syracuse has, for them, an unusually tough schedule this year. They will be playing two games away from the Carrier Dome in the Fall semester, visiting Siena in Albany, and venturing down the New York Turnpike to New York City to play Oklahoma State.

Visiting the Carrier Dome is the usual collection of cupcakes: Northern Colorado, Bucknell or Princeton, St. Bonaventure, Colgate, Binghamton, Drexel, Cornell, Rice, Albany, and Hofstra.

One could see why Syracuse needs to get Billy Edelin eligible to be able to compete.
