Duke has another tough challenge on Saturday, with
Maryland visiting Wallace Wade.
Maryland has been having a ball the last few years with Ralph Friedgen's
offensive game. It's going to be hard for Duke to stop them, but despite
the 0-3 record, there's clearly a difference on this team: they're playing hard,
and with a lot more courage than Duke has shown in recent years. We don't
know if they'll win, but we do know they'll show up. We hope you do, too, and
so does Ted Roof. Look, he's a promising coach, and as he develops,
he's going to get offers. If we want to keep him, the least we can do is
to show up.
