Despite our general antipathy towards the University of Maryland (primarily
the adminstration) for tolerating repeated episodes of violence and intimidation
from so-called fans, we have developed a lot of respect for the Diamondback
Online. The student paper is plucky, confident, and not afraid to hold the
University's feet to the fire when need be.
Anyway, they have a couple of nice articles up, including an
interview with Gary Williams, and an interview with President C.D. Mote, who
thinks Maryland lacks useful traditions.
