For those of us who remember Clyde the Glide Austin, his
fall was a sad thing to learn. But when you stop and think about it,
look how many of the guys in the early to mid '70s really bottomed out - Austin,
Hawkeye Whitney, David Thompson, Phil Ford, John Lucas, and it seems to us that
one other guy ended up in jail from that era. Sad to think about now,
since we loved seeing them play.
