Paul Hewitt Gets A Raise

Paul Hewitt was going to get a reward for his title game run, and Georgia
Tech has made it pretty lucrative
: he'll get $1 million a year from
various income streams, and it will go up during the six years of the contract
to $1.375 million. There is an annual rollover, too, so he'll always have
a six-year contract.

Furthermore, if he leaves Tech, he has to pay half the remaining amount of
the contract, so chances of other schools poaching him are not that high.

He also is allowed to leave without a buyout for up to two years after A.D
Dave "Big" Braine leaves, for whatever reason. He can also leave for
an NBA job without a buyout.
