Ohio State not to gamble on Bob Knight, and, reluctantly, it's hard to
disagree.
We have long admired many things about Bob Knight, even as his personality
has great puzzled us. He is clearly a brilliant man, who revolutionized
basketball at a young age, but you just never know what you're getting with
him. Well, actually you do: rage. If you can deal with that, then
hire him. Otherwise, it's a big gamble. He's probably better off in Texas,
frankly, where he can break Dean Smith's record for most career wins soon, and
hunt and fish to his heart's content.
