Mild Shakeup At Maryland

The staff turnover continues in College Park, as Matt Kovarik is heading to law school, and will turn his full attentions to law school. Likely replacement? Keet Boot, as Bobby Cremins used to call him, or Keith Booth for the rest of us. He was the first major recruit from Baltimore to sign with Maryland after Bob Wade got fired. The University was distinctly unpopular after that.

Booth was part of one of the most macho plays we've ever seen in Cameron: he went in for a massive dunk, had the ball cocked back and was ready to throw down in a big way, but a small obstacle emerged: okay, Taymon Domzalski was not so small. He went up and blocked the dunk. It was an absolutely electrifying moment, and perhaps his greatest play at Duke.
