Not sure if this qualifies as a "hot tip" or not, but in light of your analysis of Redick's shooting in the Maryland comments, I was pretty sure you'd want the following info (perhaps to add to the comments where you are unfamiliar with the source of information on hot streaks)...
The study on shooting streaks was done by Thomas Gilovich and is covered quite nicely in his great book, How we Know What Isn't So.
