Maryland's chances at making the tournament suffered
a grave hit when Wake
beat them on Saturday. For the first time this season, Vytas
Danelius significantly contributed. At this point, Wake is as hot as
anyone, and has a real chance to make some post-season noise.

Sunday, Duke takes on FSU, as you probably know, and UNC
takes on N. C. State. Interestingly enough, even in spite of the
on-again-off-again movement against Herb Sendek, the
Pack is on their greatest historical roll against the Heels.
Back to the Terps: At 14-10, their odds are slipping
quickly. They have N.C. State on tap and also Virginia. They are
just about out of chances. They are just about in the playoff game, in
fact.
