Oscar Robertson has an opinion piece on why the NBA is so very, very lame these days. We're betting, though, that he thinks highly of Mike Dunleavy, Shane Battier, Carlos Boozer, Elton Brand, Christian Laettner, and the rest of the Duke players who all pretty much would probably be excluded from his criticisms, which are primarily of players who lack fundamental skills and a league which promotes individualism at the expense of team play.
He also has a toss-away swipe at hip-hop culture. The Times is a subscription site.
