In Tuesday night ACC action, State is at B.C., Clemson is at UVa, and
Georgia
Tech visits Wake Forest. Nutshell: critical games for State (quality road
win), Virginia (chance to dig out of the cellar - a win would move them
into fifth place), and while it's not the hot matchup it was not so long ago,
Wake-Tech still promises to be a barnburner. Oh, and Thursday marks Steve
Robinson's first visit to FSU as a UNC assistant.
It'd be nice to see State get a good road win. And whoever loses the
Tech-Wake game gives them a bit more cushion before they have to worry about
sliding down the conference ladder, since both are sitting at 2-1 and therefore
playing for sole possession of 3rd place.
Good news for the Pack - Scooter
Sherrill's shot is coming around.
Jason
Clark's return has helped Virginia's defense, and that couldn't be more
timely. Virginia's defense has stunk, mostly, and anyone who can put some
starch
in it is sure to be welcome. You'll recall he missed most of the season
thus far because he was academically ineligible. Gillen made
some other adjustments as well.
In Atlanta, Paul
Hewitt thinks Luke Schenscher is getting whacked too much, and promises to
keep complaining.
