The rapidly-improving Pan Am women's team whipped the Dominican Republic, setting up a semifinal game against
Brazil tomorrow. This game was a rout pretty much from the word go, and
our Iciss Tillis had her best game yet, with 12 points on 5-6
shooting, 4 rebounds, 2 assists and a couple of threes. The game against
Brazil will be a brutal one, and the US will have to really be on from the
three point line once again. Still, this team has really come a long way
in a short period of time.
Back to the World Championship team for a moment: Alana Beard has her journal entry up, talking about some
interesting cultural differences in Croatia and the diversity on her own
team.
