Big Five in the News

If you've followed basketball for a while, or if you are a student of basketball history, you know that Philadelphia's Big Five rivalries are great games. It is a shame that this year, the game between Temple and Villanova won't be played.

Villanova has five players suspended, and to get them eligible to play in Maui, Villanova has added a pair of Division III teams to their schedule in November. They've also asked Temple to reschedule their game to last December, during the Christmas holidays when the students are not in class. John Chaney was very angry about this and refused.
