Apparently, Kentucky's zero tolerance policy has
served its function and is no longer in effect. How else to explain
Antwain Barbour's near brush with the law? Caught with marijuana in his
car, the officer decided not to press charges, which is his decision
entirely. Former Wildcats Heshimu Evans and Wayne Turner, who are no
longer Kentucky's problems, were also arrested recently. However, Barbour
is still in Lexington, but the zero-tolerance policy, as best we can tell, is
not.
Prosecutor Christopher Broaddus, a Kentucky graduate, says "I'd swear on two Bibles and my law degree that I didn't know who he was,"
but after saying he went to one Kentucky football game but no basketball games
during his time in Lexington added "I know this will be greeted with
skepticism."
