As college athletics (read: football and basketball) continue to generate
(and require) more and more money, legal news becomes more and more prevalent.
So it's no great surprise to see that promoters have sued the NCAA
to allow exempt events and have won a permanent injunction. And in ACC
news, the conference could
not get off of Connecticut's fast track in the ACC/Big East lawsuit.
Predicted Krzyzewski Reaction: "this is great for us. With expansion, we lost control of part of our scheduling. This allows us to regain and even improve it, and to play consistently tough teams."
